NO!  I am definitely not!  You see...I belonged to a Pentecostal Church where speaking in tongues, dancing in the Spirit as well as being slain in the Spirit was the norm.  People  gave prophesies...sometimes "in tongues" (another language or some divine language that not everyone could understand...No, it wasn't Latin, usually; and then someone else would get  the interpretation); so... talking with, hearing from and getting messages from Spirit is perfectly normal to me!

 

I think we get caught up  in "labeling" people, things, places, theories, religions and everything. I believe that all paths lead to Spirit because that is what our souls yearn to do.  We are all Spirit;  so  how could our souls choose to do otherwise?  God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy SPIRIT!; the Angels and Saints to whom we pray are not in human form, yet if someone gives us a message from our "Spirit Guide", we FREAK...it's from the Devil, it's evil...how could it possibly be from the Holy Spirit, from God?  

 

Luke 11:9

"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock,and it shall be opened unto you.

 

 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

 

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone?  or if he ask a fish will he for a fish give him a serpent?

 

Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

 

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children;  how much more shall your heavely Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?   

 

Do you really believe that if you sincerely ask the Father for anything in prayer that your prayer will not be answered?  If you ask God for something...will he send the Devil to reply to you?  

 

If someone who is truly seeking an answer from Spirit, of course, Spirit delivers the answer and I am merely a vessel; a messenger if you will, from Spirit, from God, from the Divine.  Now, I am not into burning in Hell or any other place, I do not in any way, want to anger Spirit...I truly feel it is my destiny, my soul's calling to help empower others.  Heaven forbid that I ever have to give anyone a message from a burning bush!

 

Sonia Choquette, a very famous psychic, who was raised in the Catholic Church, (as was I) and who is definitely not into Devil worship; explains it in very simple terms:  (my words)  The birds instinctively know how to fly South for the winter, dolphins have sonar, even the trees know to turn their leaves upward to catch the rain during a storm.  How much MORE have we been given?  We are ALL part of creation, of Nature, we are not any less or any more.  

 

Why is it we believe, and have so much more faith in man (who is merely a creation just as we are), yet, we profess to trust and have  faith in God, Spirit, the Divine?  For instance, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is used extensively to determine our personal preferences and the way we communicate.  It lets you know if you are an Extrovert or an Introvert; if you are Sensing or Intuitive; if you utilize Thinking or Feeling; and if you are Judging or Perceptive.  It is a Man Made Tool!  

 

Yet, Astrology which is a much superior tool is scoffed at!  Astrology is much more concise and  all inclusive than is the Myers Briggs.  Let me remind you that it was a STAR that God chose to lead the wise men to the stable on that night...not the Myers-Briggs!   I  have used the Myers- Briggs Type Indicator myself and it is a good tool, although, sometimes not very accurate.  For example, in Graduate School and when I worked for a Police Department, I was required to take the Myers- Briggs.  I come out an Extravert; in fact, I am at the far end of the Extraversion Scale...I AM AN INTROVERT.   If  I remember correctly one of  the questions asked to determine Extraversion or Introversion was:  If you are at a party and see someone standing alone in a corner would you go up to them and start a conversation?   Of course I would because I can't stand to see someone feeling uncomfortable and out of place...not because I want to be that individual's friend or spend time with them.  What I am saying is that you are rated or "judged" by your answers NOT the reasoning behind your answers.  Astrology tells you WHY you would answer that question the way you did; as well as WHY you choose to do the things you do and sooooo much more!

 

When an individual " passes over", they often want to let their loved ones know that they are okay, happy in fact!  Yet because we are grief stricken or often blaming ourselves for the "death" of our loved ones, we cannot hear or receive the messages that they are trying to give us.  We are so caught up in our own self-absorbed dramas that we actually block our loved ones from being able to speak to us!  And that is why, our loved ones sometimes elect to speak through a Medium or a more "open" friend or relative.  It's certainly not  because they don't love us, don't trust us to receive their message...it's simply because we are not listening!  Don't you think that God, Spirit, the Divine wants to give us assurance that the people we love who have "passed over" are safe and happy and that they love us enough to attempt to give us messages of hope, of joy and of life everafter?  Do you actually believe  that the Devil gives a shit (sorry, I just had to say that)  if you know that your loved ones are safe, happy and are watching over you?  OMG, come on...use a little common sense here...who can you ALWAYS count on?  Who do you believe in?  Who do you trust?  IF YOU ASK FOR A PIECE OF BREAD WOULD YOUR FATHER GIVE YOU A STONE?  If you need closure and to know that your loved one is safe...would you be given a demon who responds to you; in order to provide that closure, that piece of mind? I don't think so.  But hey, maybe that's just me!

 

We are given soooo very much and we don't even realize it!  If someone gives you a check for a million dollars...do you continue to beg for the money, do you seek more assurance that it is "real", do you hide the check so no one else will take it away from you, or do you think you "imagined the whole thing" and throw the check away...NO!!! You take the check to the bank and cash it!   That is, if you have any common sense whatsoever!  

 

It's the same with the gifts we are given...just accept them in graditude and use them!  Don't question, don't analyze (my personal favorite), don't doubt...just use them!  We are ALL given our intuition, our "gut" feelings, in order to maneuver throughout our lives...to guide us, to keep us from taking a wrong turn but we try to outguess ourselves, we doubt, we wonder if we are worthy for God to speak to us...YES, YES, YES...WE ARE WORTHY!    Just the fact that we are here, living, breathing proves that God deems us worthy.  And, who are we to question God's decisions?  

 

In addition to all the skills and gifts we are given we are also given "tools" to use...these include the Chakras, Astrology, Numerology, The Elements, Automatic Writing and so much more!  We have been given the keys to the kingdom...just take them and open the door.  

 

 You are not fearful,cringing slaves...."KNOW YE NOT THAT YE ARE GODS" , isn't it time you started acting like it?
